Arch Madness Preview – Paul Oren – Game Four

Valpo versus Illinois Chicago

(St. Louis, MO) – Game four the of the Missouri Valley Conference postseason features Valparaiso and Illinois Chicago. Paul Oren of the ‘Victory Bell’ joined us to update on everything Valpo and to preview the game.

UIC won both games between the two teams with the last game happening just last Sunday. In that loss, Valpo’s Cooper Schwieger scored 33 points and grabbed 18 rebounds. Valpo (13-18, 6-14) doubled its number conference wins and nearly doubled their overall total compared to coach Roger Powell Jr’s first season.

First year coach Rob Ehsan led the UIC Flames (17-13, 10-10) to an MVC fifth place tie.

Not rooting for any particular @ValleyHoops, but chaos is always fun. If things break certain ways, after today there could be a six-way tie for fifth place.
