Bradley Invited to Next Year’s Fort Myers Tip-Off

Editor: The following is part of a press release from bradleybraves.com.

(Peoria, IL) – The Bradley men’s basketball team will be joined by three Power 5 programs at the second-annual Rocket Mortgage by Quicken Loans Fort Myers Tip-Off, announced by the tournament on Wednesday. Bradley, Kansas State, Northwestern and Pittsburgh will battle it out next November for the title in Fort Myers, Florida.

The beautiful shores of Southwest Florida have provided an unbelievable backdrop for the competitive basketball that we’ve witnessed this week during the inaugural Rocket Mortgage by Quicken Loans Fort Myers Tip-Off,” said Drew Russell, Intersport’s Executive Vice President of Sports Properties and Media Assets. “We are thrilled to welcome these four elite men’s college basketball teams and their fans to Fort Myers next November.

The tournament will once again be staged at Suncoast Credit Union Arena, a $28 million state-of-the-art arena where Boston College, Loyola Chicago, Richmond and Wyoming have been competing this week in the inaugural Fort Myers Tip-Off. Game times and matchups for the 2019 tournament will be announced at a later date.

Bradley wraps up its 2018 regular-season tournament tonight, meeting Penn State in the Cancun Challenge championship game. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT and can be seen live on CBS Sports Network.
