Editor: Saint Louis University head coach Travis Ford keeps stockpiling talent for next season and beyond! Below is the press release from slubillikens.com concerning their latest signee Ty Graves.

ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis head men’s basketball coach Travis Ford announced today that guard Ty Graves (Greensboro, N.C.) will transfer into the SLU men’s basketball program. Graves spent the previous semester at Boston College.

Graves will enroll at the University for the spring 2017 semester. He is expected to become eligible for competition at the conclusion of the fall 2017 semester. In the meantime, Graves can immediately begin practicing with the Billikens.

“In Ty, we have a very skilled, quick and athletic guard who can really score,” Ford said. “Ty has played at the highest level in basketball through high school and AAU. He brings us the quickness, athletic ability and shooting that we were looking for.”

Graves appeared in 11 games and made three starts for Boston College. He averaged 4.8 points and 1.6 assists per contest. Graves tallied a career-high 15 points against Nicholls State in his collegiate debut.

Graves prepped his senior season at High Point Christian Academy, which was ranked as high as No. 12 in the nation. He scored 11.2 ppg and tallied 2.2 apg while leading the team to the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA) Class 3-A title game. Graves played at Page High School as a sophomore and led the squad to a state semifinal appearance. He played AAU with the Karolina Diamonds.

Graves joins an incoming class for next year that includes transfers Javon Bess (Michigan State), D.J. Foreman (Rutgers) and Adonys Henriquez (Central Florida), as well as incoming freshmen Hasahn French (Commonwealth Academy) and Jordan Goodwin (Althoff Catholic HS).
