Morant & Custer Invited by CP3

(St. Louis, MO) – Chris Paul has his eyes on Clayton Custer and Ja Morant. The two stellar guards have been invited to the CP3 Elite Guard Camp. They are two of 20 collegiate guards invited to the prestigious camp.

Custer Invited

Loyola’s Custer is the Missouri Valley Conference’s reigning ‘Larry Bird – Player of the Year’ after leading the Ramblers to their league championship and Final Four appearance.

The 6’1 senior averaged 13.2 points and 4.1 assists per game while shooting better than 45% from the three-point line. Loyola won a school-record 32 games while winning both the regular season and conference tournament championships.

Custer received numerous postseason accolades and scholastic awards.

Morant Ascending

Morant made the CP3 list after a huge freshman season. The Murray State guard was an All-Ohio Valley Conference, All-Newcomer team. Like the Ramblers, the Racers won both the regular season and conference tournament championships.

Morant was one of just two Division 1 players to accumulate at least 400 points, 200 rebounds and 200 assists. His 6.2 assists per game were the 16th best total amongst all D1 players.

The CP3 camp is August 1-4 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Flooding, lightning strikes, etc. have cost @RacersHoops two home games. Had to play 'neutral site' tonight instead of at home and Wednesday's goes from home to away. Tough break for the Racers, and the whole area has been hit with difficulties. #FatherHarry

Murray State's scheduled home game Wednesday vs. Southern Illinois being moved to Banterra Center in Carbondale. #ValleyHoops

Gigantic game for @BradleyUMBB today in Des Moines. If they have a chance to catch @DrakeBulldogsMB, they have to win today. The Bulldogs can basically win the title today. @BustingBrackets breaks it all down. #FatherHarry https://bit.ly/3EGiVgi

Not rooting for any particular @ValleyHoops, but chaos is always fun. If things break certain ways, after today there could be a six-way tie for fifth place.
