(Nashville, TN) – The Ohio Valley Conference announced the first game of its 2020-21 ESPN basketball schedule on Thursday.

The first men’s basketball contest will feature Murray State at Austin Peay and take place on Monday, December 21 on ESPNU.

The remainder of the regular season schedule will feature five additional men’s games and one women’s contest. Due to the fluid nature of this season, the additional games appearing as a part of the Conference’s linear television schedule will be announced throughout the season.

Additionally, the OVC Men’s Basketball Tournament semifinals and championship game will once again air on the ESPN Family of Networks. All seven games of the OVC Women’s Basketball Tournament, as well as the opening rounds of the men’s tournament (four total games), will air on ESPN+.

The 2021 OVC Championship Tournament is scheduled for March 3-6 at The Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.

Once again this year over 200 regular season conference games and home regular season non-conference contests will be streamed on ESPN+.

ESPN+ has grown to more than 10.3 million subscribers.

Games aired on an ESPN network will also be available through the ESPN App, accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider. All events will be available for replay on the ESPN App.

Flooding, lightning strikes, etc. have cost @RacersHoops two home games. Had to play 'neutral site' tonight instead of at home and Wednesday's goes from home to away. Tough break for the Racers, and the whole area has been hit with difficulties. #FatherHarry

Murray State's scheduled home game Wednesday vs. Southern Illinois being moved to Banterra Center in Carbondale. #ValleyHoops

Gigantic game for @BradleyUMBB today in Des Moines. If they have a chance to catch @DrakeBulldogsMB, they have to win today. The Bulldogs can basically win the title today. @BustingBrackets breaks it all down. #FatherHarry https://bit.ly/3EGiVgi

Not rooting for any particular @ValleyHoops, but chaos is always fun. If things break certain ways, after today there could be a six-way tie for fifth place.
