Racing to Their 20th Win

(St. Louis, MO) – The Ohio Valley Conference’s solid post season continues. Murray State collected an easy 86-62 win over Nebraska-Omaha in their College Insider.com second round game.

Five Racers reached double figures led by Jeffrey Moss’ 17. OVC Freshman of the Year Cameron Payne scored 15 points and handed out six assists. The OVC’s West Division champions are now 20 – 11.

The Racers have won two straight, seven of their last nine games. OVC teams are 4 – 2 in post season play. Eastern Kentucky and Morehead State each lost their only post season games. Murray State and Belmont (in the NIT) have both won twice. The Bruins play a quarter final game Tuesday night at Clemson.

Not rooting for any particular @ValleyHoops, but chaos is always fun. If things break certain ways, after today there could be a six-way tie for fifth place.
