Editor: The following is a press release from slubillikens.com.

(St. Louis, MO)  – After leading the Billikens to a pair of victories last week, Saint Louis junior guard Jordan Goodiwn picked up Atlantic 10 Conference ‘Player of the Week‘ honors, the league announced today.

Goodwin averaged 23.0 ppg last week on 17-of-29 shooting from the field. He also brought down 8.5 rpg and registered three steals.

In the Billikens’ 63-58 win against George Washington on Jan. 8, Goodwin scored 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds.

On Jan. 11 at Richmond, Goodwin tallied a season-high 26 points and grabbed a team-best nine rebounds as SLU posted an impressive 74-58 road win at the Robins Center.

Goodwin leads the Billikens in scoring (16.1 ppg), rebounding (10.5 rpg) and steals (2.2 spg). He is 50 points away from reaching 1,000 for his career.

The Billikens (14-3, 3-1 A-10) are back in action on Friday, Jan. 17, when they host No. 13 Dayton at Chaifetz Arena for the Billiken Blizzard. Game time is set for 6 p.m. Tickets are still available but are expected to go fast.

Flooding, lightning strikes, etc. have cost @RacersHoops two home games. Had to play 'neutral site' tonight instead of at home and Wednesday's goes from home to away. Tough break for the Racers, and the whole area has been hit with difficulties. #FatherHarry

Murray State's scheduled home game Wednesday vs. Southern Illinois being moved to Banterra Center in Carbondale. #ValleyHoops

Gigantic game for @BradleyUMBB today in Des Moines. If they have a chance to catch @DrakeBulldogsMB, they have to win today. The Bulldogs can basically win the title today. @BustingBrackets breaks it all down. #FatherHarry https://bit.ly/3EGiVgi

Not rooting for any particular @ValleyHoops, but chaos is always fun. If things break certain ways, after today there could be a six-way tie for fifth place.
