Snow Changes

(St. Louis, MO) – The Ohio Valley Conference is on a ‘snow day’ basketball schedule. The east coast of America is getting battered with three feet of snow and the back side of that storm system has dropped about eight inches of snow on the Nashville area. So half of Saturday’s games have been moved to Sunday.

Still playing today are Tennessee Tech (13-7, 5-2) at Eastern Kentucky (12-9, 3-3) at 1:00 p.m., Eastern Illinois (6-13, 3-4) traveling to Austin Peay (9-12, 2-4) and Southern Illinois Edwardsville (4-15, 1-6) visiting Murray State (9-10, 3-3).

The huge game between undefeated East Division leaders Tennessee State and Belmont (both 6-0) has been postponed until Sunday, along with Jacksonville State’s (7-15, 3-4) game at Morehead State (10-8, 4-2) and Southeast Missouri (3-16, 0-6) hosting UT-Martin (10-10, 2-3).

There are no weather changes for the Missouri Valley Conference. Day time games abound.

Drake visits Loyola. Those two teams have one MVC win combined. Wichita State is looking for its ninth win in a row and their 41st in a row at home when they host Bradley and Illinois State hosts Northern Iowa.

Flooding, lightning strikes, etc. have cost @RacersHoops two home games. Had to play 'neutral site' tonight instead of at home and Wednesday's goes from home to away. Tough break for the Racers, and the whole area has been hit with difficulties. #FatherHarry

Murray State's scheduled home game Wednesday vs. Southern Illinois being moved to Banterra Center in Carbondale. #ValleyHoops

Gigantic game for @BradleyUMBB today in Des Moines. If they have a chance to catch @DrakeBulldogsMB, they have to win today. The Bulldogs can basically win the title today. @BustingBrackets breaks it all down. #FatherHarry https://bit.ly/3EGiVgi

Not rooting for any particular @ValleyHoops, but chaos is always fun. If things break certain ways, after today there could be a six-way tie for fifth place.
