Valley & CBS Multi-Year Extension

MVC on CBS Through 2026-27

The following is part of a press release from mvc-sports.com.

(St. Louis, MO) – CBS Sports and the Missouri Valley Conference have reached a multi-year extension for men’s college basketball games to air across CBS and Paramount+ as well as CBS Sports Network. The deal, which runs through the 2026-27 season, is through a sublicence agreement with ESPN.

The Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Basketball Championship game will continue to be broadcast on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+. This upcoming year will be the 20th consecutive season CBS Sports has presented the Championship game.

CBS Sports Network will televise the Arch Madness semifinals – which it has aired for the past nine seasons – as well as a package of regular-season games each year.

Since 2006, CBS Sports has been a great partner, and we are thrilled to continue our relationship, with CBS remaining as the television home for the championship game of Arch Madness,” said Jeff Jackson, Missouri Valley Conference Commissioner.

CBS Sports will begin its 44th consecutive season presenting college basketball. CBS Sports has been the broadcast home of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament since 1982, including a partnership with TNT Sports since 2012.

Flooding, lightning strikes, etc. have cost @RacersHoops two home games. Had to play 'neutral site' tonight instead of at home and Wednesday's goes from home to away. Tough break for the Racers, and the whole area has been hit with difficulties. #FatherHarry

Murray State's scheduled home game Wednesday vs. Southern Illinois being moved to Banterra Center in Carbondale. #ValleyHoops

Gigantic game for @BradleyUMBB today in Des Moines. If they have a chance to catch @DrakeBulldogsMB, they have to win today. The Bulldogs can basically win the title today. @BustingBrackets breaks it all down. #FatherHarry https://bit.ly/3EGiVgi

Not rooting for any particular @ValleyHoops, but chaos is always fun. If things break certain ways, after today there could be a six-way tie for fifth place.
