Valley on the One Eye Network

Editor: The following is part of a press release from mvc-sports.com.

(St. Louis, MO) –  For the ninth-straight year, CBS Sports Network will televise a package of Missouri Valley Conference men’s basketball games, including the State Farm MVC Tournament semifinals and eight regular-season contests.

The CBS Television Network, which has aired every title game of the MVC Tournament since 2006, will televise the 2024 championship tilt on March 10, with the game also available to stream live on Paramount+.

The 2023-24 regular-season package of games on CBS Sports Network begins with Southern Illinois’ participation in the Cancun Challenge.  The Salukis open with James Madison (Nov. 21) and will either meet Fresno State or New Mexico State the following day.

Non-conference coverage continues with Southern Illinois playing host to Oklahoma State on Dec. 5.

CBS Sports’ coverage of the 2024 State Farm MVC Men’s Basketball Tournament — known uniquely as “Arch Madness” — will include the semifinals on March 9 on CBS Sports Network.  The championship contest on March 10 will air at 1 p.m. Central on CBS and will be available to stream live on Paramount+.

The 2024 tournament — the 34th consecutive MVC event in St. Louis — will mark the 19th-straight year that CBS Sports has televised the title game.  The semifinals will be shown on CBS Sports Network for the ninth-consecutive year.

In fact, The Valley is one of four leagues — Atlantic 10, Big Ten and Mountain West — to have its men’s basketball tournament final shown on CBS.

Flooding, lightning strikes, etc. have cost @RacersHoops two home games. Had to play 'neutral site' tonight instead of at home and Wednesday's goes from home to away. Tough break for the Racers, and the whole area has been hit with difficulties. #FatherHarry

Murray State's scheduled home game Wednesday vs. Southern Illinois being moved to Banterra Center in Carbondale. #ValleyHoops

Gigantic game for @BradleyUMBB today in Des Moines. If they have a chance to catch @DrakeBulldogsMB, they have to win today. The Bulldogs can basically win the title today. @BustingBrackets breaks it all down. #FatherHarry https://bit.ly/3EGiVgi

Not rooting for any particular @ValleyHoops, but chaos is always fun. If things break certain ways, after today there could be a six-way tie for fifth place.
