Valley Schedule Reveals … ?

Round Robin is Gone

(St. Louis, MO) – Once again the Missouri Valley schedule reveals which teams play which other teams only once. MVC teams play nine conference foes twice (home and away) and two members only once. Last season the schedule makers attempted to allow the ‘lesser teams’ to avoid some of the league powers.

During this year of transition and unknown rosters, the matchups seem less defined.

If we believe ‘Blue Ribbon Yearbook’ Bradley and Northern Iowa are the favorites and each of those teams play Evansville only once. The Panthers only see Valparaiso once and the Braves connect with Missouri State on one occasion.

Here are your other single game competitors

Other Valley Schedule Reveals

There are some interesting points to the schedule. Reminiscent of the covid season,  SIU and Missouri State play each other in a back-to-back fashion. During the season’s final day, ancient rivals Murray State and Belmont face off in Nashville and preseason favorites UNI and Bradley meet in Peoria.

There will be five games played on New Year’s Day and Wednesday night is ‘Valley Night’. Every Wednesday in 2025 will feature a large slate of MVC conference games. Each Saturday in the New Year will be heavily scheduled too. The only gameless Saturday between January 4 and Arch Madness is March 1 as all twelve league members play on Sunday March 2.

The conference season tips off on December 3 as Bradley visits Southern Illinois and Murray State entertains Evansville.
